Summer Highlights!

I started school about a month ago and it's going well.  Before I post pictures of my classroom I thought I would post some highlights from the summer. 

Cooper

Abe and I stopped by to see Dale and Sherri on the way to Manhattan.

Mom and I went to see Wicked in Omaha in June.

Alec and Amberly spent a week with Abe and I.  It was a fun week and we hope it works next summer too!

 In July we had family time in Manhattan.  We had a great time and hope that next time Tyler, Carrie, the kids, Mandy's husband Mike, and my cousin Haley can join us!

I finally got to meet Mandy's (my cousin) children Ellis and Oliver.  

 

This is at the city pool.  Oliver loved playing on this - I'm not exactly sure what you call it, but it was lots of fun!

They are sweet children and Abe and I loved playing with them!

1st Anniversary.... Lots of pictures!

We went to Colorado Springs to celebrate our first anniversary!  We went to Seven Falls, Cave of the Winds, Garden of the Gods, and back to Seven Falls after supper to see the water fall lit up!  We had a great time and enjoyed the cooler weather.

Summer!

School is out and summer is finally here!  The last day for my preschoolers was Monday, May 16; the other students got out on Tuesday, May 17; and I was completely done on Friday!  I will teach summer school and hopefully Abe will be back to driving soon!  He is doing well - the buttons came off on the 17th and he has 4 more sessions of physical therapy.  We will hopefully take a couple of trips this summer - we know we are going to Manhattan, KS and hopefully we can get to Charlotte to see this cute little girl and her family....

Patio Update.... finally!

The patio has been done since the first week of May, but I haven't taken the time to post pictures.

We are planning on planting grass behind the garage.  That post update will come much later!

Remodeling

We have done a little remodeling on our house - a little inside and a little on the outside.  The outside is still being finished, but here is the what has been done so far.

I came home from school on Friday and part of the step was gone!

The work Abe did was awhile ago before he hurt his hand.  The patio is being up in by a local contractors here in Sublette.  We can't wait until we have a patio!  Now we will have to find patio furniture!
