34 Weeks

34 weeks down; 6 to go!!  Although at this point I hope that we don't have to wait that long to meet this baby!  Don't get me wrong I don't want this baby to come into the world before he/she is ready, but I am definately ready!  2 weeks ago when I went to the doctor I had really high blood pressure so she put me in the hospital for 24 hours.  I'm now at home taking it easy until this baby is born.  I'm not on strict bed rest, but doctor doesn't want me to work.  She said that it was more due to first pregnancy high blood pressure than serious health issues which we are thankful for.  Baby is doing great - heartbeat is strong!  So I'm taking it easy - not overdoing it so that my blood pressure won't rise. I'm thankful that the doctor didn't put me on strict bedrest; after last week and being very bored I know I wouldn't be able to handle it!

Baby's Room

June

June was a busy month of watching t-ball and softball games.  July consists of going through things and getting the nursery ready.  Abe is in the process of putting baby furniture together and then I will post pictures!

Summer!!

Summer is here!  I was offically done with school last Friday and will enjoy a week of vacation before summer school starts.  As you can see from the poll we are going to have a baby in October!  (Thanks to Carrie for putting a poll on their blog so that I could copy the idea!)  We are very excited and I'm looking forward to getting the nursery decorated.  Pictures coming soon!

Happy Birthday Dad!

My dad turned 60 years old on March 24th and we had a great time celebrating with family and friends!!  Tyler, Maggie, and Henry flew in on Thursday before dad's birthday party and boy did we suprise dad!  He had absolutely no idea and we enjoyed suprising him!  I think it's accurate to say that this was one of his best birthday presents!  We missed Carrie and Haven and hope that they can come next time! With the kids here we packed as many activities into the weekedn that we could!  Here are some pictures that I captured during our weekend!

Christmas

We had a good Christmas.  We spent Christmas Eve with Melodee's parents and split Christmas day between going to Dodge to be with Melodee's Godparents and in the evening we went to Abe's parents.  Melodee spent a week in Charlotte with Tyler, Carrie, and the kids!  Everytime I go see the kids I take over 500 pictures; they are so cute and it's so easy to capture all that cuteness on camera (although it is much better in person)!  Don't worry I won't post all the pictures that I took!
